UPDATE: I started a FB group to make it easier to make events and do invites.

Join here.

Come on down to Jack Torrance Stadium for pickup Saturday morning at 9:30am to shake off that Friday evening hangover.

Location is Greenwood Park near Torrance and Crenshaw in the beautiful city of Torrance.

I will bring pop-up goals, you bring yourselves, some shoes for rather deep grass, a ball and some water.

This pleasant South Bay location has cool temperatures and a couple places to eat and drink at about noon when we wrap up.

The field is good, nice grass, easy to get to, and at 9:30am on Saturday morning, you can get here without much traffic to get in the way. There are no other activities that will get in the way or get us kicked off.

For those that came, this was one of the places we practiced prior to the Portland road trip. Seemed to work pretty well.

Cool, but that is possible soccer crest material in my opinion.

So yeah, looks like a possible decent turnout.

I'll bring those cones to mark off the field if need be..

If you're not creepin', you're not trying...

We're gonna need a bigger boat...

whoops, wrong iconic 70's film?..

We could use bigger goals though.
My Taylor Twellman endorsed 4 ft pop ups are good for 5v5 or so, but it would be funner to have a larger rig for this number of LARSers. Anyone?

With the start of EPL this weekend I'm skeptical that all listed will show, but yeah... "a bigger boat" indeed...

I have some rickety DYI pvc pipe goals that Raul made. They require some staking though and I don't know if that's kosher with "your' community if you know what I'm saying..

If you're not creepin', you're not trying...

Great turnout today...we had 19-20 Riot Squadders out there.

3 yes's were no shows, and 3 of the 7 maybe's made it out. Twigg and his friend Richie, Jake and Samo, Tommy Gunn, Kula and his friend Shervin, Esco, Red, Andrew, Ari, me, Lobo, Javier, Kittens, Joaquin, Medium Tony, Nate, & Jeremy. I think I am forgetting someone...

Also a no show was the delightful ocean breeze...
