Definately ask Frank about him.

Shades of Posednik?

Would there be anything owed Colorado? I assume the agreement for his departure included his not play for league competition, but what do I know?

I'm sure some compensation could be found.

Ivan (and Cabs) had previously started for Honduras in the WC qualifiers. If they cut him loose, why would we have to give them anything? Doesn't Prideaux want to retire? Could always let him start early on that post-player career.

Ivan's career since "that coach" let him go has been sad and undeserving for such a great player. Bring him back.

 Ivan is my all time favorite player for the Fire. So sad to hear this news. If we could get him back I would be ecstatic.

I agree, we should pick him up. And then, we can go back in time to 2005 when he was a useful player!

Maybe you could sell me on picking up a 2006 verson of Ivan too, maybe.

But, at no point in time would I want the Fire to pick up the 2007, 2008 or 2009 versions of this guy. He's resembled a guy with a ton, ton, ton of miles on his legs for 3 years now, and it's amazing how many people choose to remember him from his 2005/2006 days.

There's a reason that San Jose, DC AND Colorado have all given up on him in just 18 months time.
