I don't hate him. I just expect a lot from a player as talented as him. There is far more to the forward role IMO than the number of sitters you put in the back of the net. You might afford having someone waiting for service and not being involved in the game if your team is dominating, but during periods when the team is struggling, which seems to be quite often, then it's time for the captain and the star forward to step up and go out and carry the team. Fight. Help to win the ball back. Help the team to hold on to the ball. Create chances for others. That's what I expect.

Does that mean you're satisfied with his performance today then? Or is there something else he's doing all wrong?

He had a great game and nearly made it 5-1 at the end with that nice run.... unfortunately Ibrahim had no idea what to do with the ball and an open look at goal and would up losing it.

If only the strikers can start creating some magic on their own, as they should be able to, and are paid to.

Last I checked, Angel is the second leading scorer in the league. JPA delivers more than any other player in this team history. All of this anti-Angel stuff lately confuses the shit out of me.

Is it frustrating that you haven’t score yet in three MLS games?
TH: I’ve set up all three goals, so it doesn’t bother me.

What an inane question. RB should pay him extra for having to suffer through interviews with dopey American sportswriters.
