Bad news is that the job is in the Philadelphia area.
Very sad to have to move down there this Spring. What should I do with my support? Do I continue to support Red Bulls from a far? Or do I call Harraby Lad and see what a "real" football club is like with the Union?
It's going to be weird not going to Red Bulls games all the time and seeing folks who have been so nice to me over the years. There are some really great folks.
The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. Now it's the RedBulls fans. they may be even louder than the DC guys who, for reasons beyond imagining, had 50 seats saved for them up front.
Philadelphia: I love you guys, really, but you're getting schooled.
The noise in here is deafening.

I think it's an odd question, if you have move to Philly it shouldn't change your team... Philly isn't that far, you could still be a STH from there, I know people who make that commute to work everyday.... you're silly.

just a matter of time before you join the Union, if you think people laugh at Red Bulls fans around here, wait til you get to Philly
Yeah, I guess you are right. Even more people laugh at the Bimbos in Philly.

Just sad that I won't be at El Pastor for every home game. Not fun to drink all night, then have to drive home 2 hours. But if Jen can do it, so can I. Same with the guys from Detroit. On the bright side I have more incentive now to do some fun away trips. Obviously, I'll meet you guys in the parking lot for the Philly game. I've done DC a few times but it's time to man up and do a Toronto or Montreal with you guys.
Please keep me in the loop. I'll very much miss not living in the area for the forseeable future.
I can't wait to hang up my Super Bowl stuff in my new office through!!

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Is this before or after repping DC. I don't GMoney would want to do that.
I think the Philly fans are still ripping their hair out over the LeToux trade, less laughter down there and more vitriol against Nowak, Sakiewicz and co.
