Miss Peguy so much. Did you all ever read the rumor that basically Peguy retired because he saw Felipe's was Jesse's guy and that he thought there was no chance he was going to play over him? Crazy.

I remember walking into the shop and seeing the number 8 Felipe kit and just getting really sad.

Damn, is this thread that old?
Anyway, his legend certainly grew tonight.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

What he does is very rare and very hard to find and Jesse knows this. We are very very lucky to have BWP. We can get rid of Dax, Sacha, Felipe, etc They are replaceable, maybe not in the same way but in other ways. However, BWP is irreplaceable and I hope he stays until he's 99.

He was clutch last night, and he gave us the production we needed against Olympia. Not sure who would be scoring for us if BWP wasn't here.

How can you not love this guy?!? Super humble, hard working and all he seems to do is score goals.

Have been trying to decide who's red kit to get. Last night BWP won out. What a fucking guy.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

If you look at some of these numbers it's a lot easier to understand how good BWP is. I estimated his 2018 season based on averaging the last two which puts him at 7th all time in MLS, but look at the Goals Per Game and Goals Per 90. Literally no one is even close to him he almost averages .7 Goals per 90. Twellman is the closest at .604 but dont forget he retired at 28 so no downward slope.
BWP GOAT MLS goalscorer.

Thanks for this. Do you have the data on penalties? I'd be curious to see how those impact the results.
BWP has never been much of a penalty taker and it hurts his volume numbers.

Three observations:
1) Wow as to that strike rate for BWP.
2) LD is one of the few players on that list to have spent a lot of time playing in the MF. Plus, he is also the all-time MLS assist leader. Considering those two factors, LD is my GOAT. When you take into account his .41 assists per game and his .426 goals per game, that's awfully impressive
3) I simply refuse to believe that Ante Razov scored 114 goals.
