Forbes valuation of RBNY is $245 Million:

I don't know how real these numbers are.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Anybody have 250 mill laying around?

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

2 million in the red is the important number for RBNY. Remember when we set the record at what, -14M?

Yankee Stadium FC being $9 million in the red is largely attributed to the club paying for all the broken seats from their faux hooligans, to be fair.

My question is why they are worth significantly more when their revenue is roughly the same as ours? Also on these values do they factor in stadiums owned like they do for the other leagues they do valuations for?

we don't own the stadium anymore, iirc. just the team and whatever the Training Facility and its land are worth.

Exactly... Other teams' value usually has to do with stadiums and networks/network deals.  Pretty much why the Cowboys are now worth more than any team on the planet in any sport.

Can someone in the know clarify the stadium situation? I knew there was a fight over taxes with the town but the amount owed couldn't possibly be worth giving away ownership of a stadium you paid $200 million+ to build right?

The original deal, when it was built,  had us giving the stadium to Harrison after 30 years (Harrison already owns the land it was built on).    To settle the tax dispute in a way that worked for everyone, we agreed to give them the stadium now, and we pay rent roughly equal to whatever the taxes would have been.  But we still operate and maintain the stadium as part of the deal.   Really just an accounting thing.
