We'll be coming,
We'll be coming,
We'll be coming down the road
When you hear the noise
Of the old Chicago bhoys,
We'll be coming down the road.
Do just the refrain untill it catches on, then perhaps add the verses along the lines of
LOLOLOLOLO we're all here for Chicago
And it's FI-YUR, FI-YUR!
LOLOLOLOLO we will follow where they go
and it's FI-YUR! FI-YUR!
Post video/audioof whatever tune you're trying to point out for any board newbies who aren't as knowledgable in the world of terrace chants. This way everyone's ready for Opening night, and 2007 S8OT road trips (Toronto?)

I think if we can get some good lyrics to this, it could catch on and be next year's Allez Allez Allez. Its been discussed we need more sustained songs anyway. This thing is just an endless loop of ass-kickery.
I'll try to get some words down, but I figure I'd get the ball rolling by reminding everyone of the awesomeness.

Hey, more power to you. I think you'd need a three-week camp to educate people to sing that but god knows I'd sign up for it. If we were to pull it off I might name a kid after you. Let's keep working on it.Well, I guess its time to get an early start on this. My goal is RAGE-AVENGERS

I was going to start this at the home playoff game had I went. Messed around with it in New York and Foxboro away. This is a definite for next season.
FI!
RE!
*raising arms in unison*
WHOOOOOOOOOOOA!!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOA!!
*clap, clap-clap, clap-clap-clap*
*clap, clap-clap, clap-clap-clap*

One last time I think we all need to be commended for such a productive year song/chant wise. In past seasons we were lucky to really nail one or two new songs every season. DSLITR took three seasons to stick!
This past year there may have been TEN or more new songs and chants that became part of our regular repertoire, and that is amazing. Anything from "Fire Till I Die", to "We Are Red & We Are White", to "Vamos La Maquina Roja".

You mean like Midnight Yell at Texas A&M?Hey, more power to you. I think you'd need a three-week camp to educate people to sing that but god knows I'd sign up for it.

WOW. I love that. Searched around a bit and found these:
translated lyrics in the (more) in this clip:

and someone made a mediocre english version here:

That's not terrible, but neither is it acceptable for us to sing. Maybe I can transcribe the lyrics and fiddle a bit; but the song is much, much better (and more unique) with the drug references.and someone made a mediocre english version here:
This might be a little out there, but since it's "Horto magico" and Chicago is "Urbs in Horto" maybe we can do something with that, just as the intro?

Urbs in horto magicooo...
You are my one and only Chicagooo...
To dream in red, and dream in white
For you we will all shout into the night
Our Chicago
We love you so
Like heroin
Fire, a drug for Chicago
Just like hashish
Or LSD
For the Fire all of our city goes crazy (goes crazy)
Our Chicago (our Chicago)
We love you so (we love you so)
We will always follow anywhere you go (anywhere you go)
Fire here (Fire here)
Fire there (Fire there)
Where-ever you may go we will be there (we will be there)
I think it's actually not THAT complicated; the intro is only sung once and then it repeats over and over.

That Korean song is money. So is the Korean goal song we never got going (1-nil to Chi-ca-go. ooooooooooh. oh oh oh ohhhhhhhh)
By the way, if anyone wants to sing YNWA next year. You know where to find me.
EDIT:I've been looking at this YouTube too long, I completely missed Liam's post. Excellent start. See, its not so hard?

Started singing the lyrics I posted to myself and it's catchy; I can't get out of my head. Pattrick, Steve, etc; we're singing this on Thursday at the Wood.
And the other Korean song needs to be done too, you're right Mike.

Ok, this is rough, but follow along with the video and sing to yourself. The first lines are only at the beginning, then the next two sets constantly repeat. I sort of wish we could try this somewhere first; this might work.

Yeah...Our Chicago (our Chicago), We love you so (we love you so) ... it's a killer head sticker. Gonna be in there for a couple days.
We should really keep plugging away at this until it catches on.
The call and response is great, and if we make an effort to fill two sections next season it will be easier to make it work.
PLUS, if Coz's Section "80" ever gets going this song is one that could really sound great and spread out.

What we ought to do (and we should do this regardless of this song) is stick 10 people in the middle/top of 117. The start the response part and before you know it the rest of the section is doing it too. We just need to stick the people in 117.The call and response is great, and if we make an effort to fill two sections next season it will be easier to make it work.
