Seems odd that Rodgers would announce that he got the visa, then NYRB sent out of confirmation tweet, now it turns out he was denied.

Soler explained this on ETR, said that Rogders got a call from someone who told him it was approved and he jumped the gun with announcing it before it was confirmed.

Posts like that guy who said he did not mind if rodgers was not back give you all something to talk about, otherwise it would just be the same people writing the same thing over and over and over. I appreciate your opinion but rebuff it as well; Rodgers is a firey son of a gun. ALTHOUGH, I would like to see what the other guys can bring to the table.

happy day.

that did not make officials at the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Dept. very happy in the post-911 era."

I don't blame them, he is after all a bit of a terror(ist threat) to poor innocent women.

Please say it ain't so. I really liked watching the team when Rodgers was playing.

I hope the U.S. Immigration officer is not a DCU fan.

Well Hillary Clinton needs to remember that she was a senator from NEW YORK. Maybe we can start a letter campaign to convince HillDawg to pull rank at the State Department to get Luke into the country.
RedBull gives you wings...and the wings given to the RBNY marketing/PR team were from a Dodo bird.

Not to defend RBNY, but the government works on their own schedule and do not operate under the "Let's hurry up and get this settled so the crazies over at Metrofanatic stay calm" mantra. While I would like to hear this week ,if we don't, let's pause 24 hours before reaching for the torches and pitchforks....
