Their transfer window closes end of the month. Its so unlike Hamlett and Armas to wait until the last 1.5-2 weeks to launch a bid for a player from a team who will surely need to find a replacement.

Also,Im pretty sure RBNY leave for FLA tomorrow.

We need to be hearing about a bid in the next few days.

"there has been no offers".

I can contribute $50, if we are taking up a collection.
$100, if the initial offer is rejected.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

The timing does have to make you think we struck out on our first option or two.  That’s not good news but then again, sometimes your first choice doesn’t turn out the best.

Is it really surprising that this Ownership is shooting blanks at acquiring actual talent?

I didnt say I would make the winning offer.
I just want to get the bidding going.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

When we're rumored to be targeting a player who isn't good enough to get playing time for a certain club, people bitch. And when we'e rumored to target a player who is getting consistent player time, people bitch. What do people want, exactly?

I think the point was more that clubs don't tend to actually play guys who are imminently outbound because they don't want an injury to tank the deal. Writing on the wall here is that we're not actually anywhere close to a deal for this guy.

Yeah, when it was mentioned that he played in FA/League Cup play earlier(?), I didn't think that was good news for us.
