Brian White is a nice player.

Tom Barlow is a borderline MLS player.

Mathias Jorgensen is alive?

WTF, Hamlett?

I've even got concerns about White, he was a tap-in machine in 2019 but Armas is now asking him to play an expanded role that I'm not sure he's suited for.

Our best striker is a 30 year old LW who will surely age out of being a RBNY player shortly.

I like White, but in an ideal world hes a great rotation piece and 3rd option.

Barlow, not convinced by whatsoever and not sure at his age if there is any meaningful development left

Jørgensen is young which is great, but who knows if hell ever get on the field and produce

Also, Im hoping the roster construction is Fernie and Thelwells job at this point

And what is Hamlett's job?

LAFC has Vela

LA has Chicharito

Atlanta has Martinez (injured, but whatever, they have the other Martinez and Barco)

KC has Pulido

Smurfs have Heber

Toronto has Jozy

etc etc etc

We have White (no offense to White)

This pandemic really made us forget what an incompetent roster Hamlett built.

It sure hasn't! We just had more worrying issues to talk about.

Strikers? You wanna see our strikers?
We dont have to show you our strikers!
We dont need no stinking strikers!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Well at least the pandemic got us closer to the summer transfer window so that we can not buy any players in that window.

Good thing we won't have to see any of it in person for the rest of the season.

4222 will triumph via high press in the short tournament format on rusty teams who will not be able to stand the Florida heat and humidity resulting in tap ins.

I am a Brian White fan and

I really hope Jorgensen has grown by leaps and bounds or Theiwell is thoroughly evaluating the non EPL talent throughout Great Britain.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Early on? Could be the case. Wouldnt be surprised.

As it goes on the heat will get us too. Just like sprinting all season has caught up to us in the playoffs before.

Im not a fan of the Red Bull global system of soccer. IMO talent wins. Not systems.

Post was a bit tongue in cheek
However system clearly are the current way . System with talent are that much better.
Heres hoping to better transfer windows to come!
And academy development as well!!

Jurgen Klopp and Jesse Marsch would disgaree.  Talent wins.  Systems win.  Systems + Talent win even more.
