i guess is Casseres' integration takes a little longer than expected, getting this guy helps that maybe?

Let's hope this goes better than Gulbrandsvenson. At least we will probably be playing the 4-2-2-2, so he has a defined roll, opposite Royer, where we hope Kaku would be? Was this plan B?
Five goals and five assists in 27 games for Salzburg would be pretty good numbers for a guy coming into MLS. That would translate to maybe a 10/10 guy for a full season here.

Nah, this wasn't plan B. Still hopeful plan A happens though. This basically equates to a TAM type of signing in my mind.
I think he actually ends up starting next to Felipe if he stays a bit healthy. Gotta see him though and figure out what he's good at.

Pretty much a signing to boost our depth behind Adams, Davis, and Felipe. That's my estimation of it.

Are we really expecting anything big from this guy? Only 12 league appearances in 1.5 years at Salzburg...he probably wont start for us right?

For that 4th CM option, could do worse than a guy with experience in the system they're trying to play. Seems like he can rotate into any of the "middle 4" in the 4222.

The thing that's notable about him is that he tends to put up either goals or assists at a good rate given the fact that he generally plays pretty deep in his career.
I'd really like to see him next to Felipe and move Tyler farther up the field.

This is fine for depth in midfield. Just need our big signing and I'll be OK with the offseason as a whole.
