I'm not sure if this has come up already, but this is a new team in the NISA.  Based in NYC with indications that they want to play in the Bronx.

With the pandemic, this year they are playing without fans in Warwick, which is upstate.

The NISA is described as 3rd Division, it's the league that the Cosmos are currently in.  I guess it's the equivalent of USL League 1.

They actually hired Eric Wynalda to coach, but he quit pretty quickly.  Right now, they have an interim coach.  I read that their philosophy is to have mostly local players.

So in the metropolitan area, we have RBNY and NYCFC, then RBNY 2, the Cosmos, David Villa's Queens team and now this team in the Bronx.  And I guess you could throw the RBNY U23s, Long Island Rough Riders and FC Motown in there as well.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
