False.
A better keeper would have made that save.
Not too many keepers out there that would have put a finger on David Beckham's goal.
New haircut, golazo, Harry Redknap got a total chub.

Unfalse, in my humblest of opinions, for the aforementioned reasons. The shot and the work that went in to it were harder to execute as a sum than David's effort. David's strike alone may have been better...okay, it was better...but the lead up to Juni's goal make it superior for me.

You're right about the keeper though. Perhaps a better keeper would have kept out Juni's shot. But then perhaps a taller keeper would have tipped Beckham's over.

Interesting to read Rafa B. say this about MLS: "Good skills but they need more pace."

Don't you think he means the kind of speed of mind that some players like Donovan have? Not necessarily speed of foot?

The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Yes, and speed of play that comes with speed of thought. But, I do think he was also referring to actual pace as in running faster.

There are some other G and MLS matches that he writes about on his blog where he refers to tempo and pace.  And, it seems to me, speed as energy is part of it I think.

The more important part is that he is recognizing some "skill." Even though his opinion about The G's doesn't mean much.
