Stop starting Barlow. If you arent going to start Klimala and Fletcher, start Zach Ryan over Barlow. Barlow has shown his futility. He isnt an MLS caliber player. Give Ryan those meaningful minutes to see if he has potential. Unless he puts the ball in the back of our net he cannot be worse.

Ryan had 3-4 back passes where he turned the ball over. I think we have to limit him to 15-20 mins until he gets that under control. Hopefully just nerves.

He's actually looked better at the MLS level than he has at the USL level.

happens a lot Sam Williams looks better in usl than mls when you move up you face new challenges but you also are asked to do less and you feel you have less to do. He also never trains with the usl team

Barlow is a really good fit for a 3rd string striker or so. Someone who will press and cause chaos but no real expectation of scoring.

The problem is that we've built the roster to where he's the 1st or 2nd string for the last couple years.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

That's a description of a defensive midfielder, not a forward.

I fully agree with the rest of the message, but there should be some expectation of scoring from a professional striker.

Sure, Barlow is a decent option if we're protecting a lead, but even for a third striker, you want someone that can create or finish a late game chance if you're looking to get a point or three.

Whoa, Coronel is out with "non-COVID illness".

So much for Pendant starting.

Klimala over Barlow.

Luquinhas off the bench again.

I guess? Not sure how this center heavy squad lines up
"I'm sure we won't hear much from [Philly] because of the quality of our fans, of how loud and how boisterous they are," Petke said. "They're probably going to drown them out. But I welcome it. I love it..."

It says a lot about our backup left back situation when Morgan is preferred to Pendant.

Morgan is totally wasted at wing back either side.

I get he can do a job but go get a back up LB like it's not too difficult.

MSG has us in a 4-4-2 with Edwards at LB, but who knows.
