Clint won't get it, but that's complete BS. For some time, he was the best American out there, and no one was even close.

It makes it about as legit as the WWE Hall of Fame.

Who is next to be nominated? Brek Shea when he retires?

The eligibility requirements allow for a lot of people to be candidates. Brek Shea has met the criteria, so he will be a candidate when he retires.

I think the likely sequence would be David Roth, Conor Chinn, then Brek

This would be a career pinnacle for Henry.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Nice to see Linda Hamilton nominated. I loved her in the Terminator movies.

Ben Olsen in his last year of eligibility...oh no!

What I learned reading that list is how quickly I lose perspective of time.  I couldn't believe some of those players were retired for at least 3 years, especially several members of the USWNT.  I also would have lost a bet figuring Donovan Ricketts was still a goalie for someone.

He will soon be eligible again as a coach.

Some of the names on there.. woof..

But no list, MLS/American soccer list has any value if Giovani Savarese isn't on it...

The only ones worth considering from the Metro list are Mathis, Moreno, and the guys on the veteran's list.  Shep has to be in. Maybe Hartman
