Would be disappointed if Cardozo gets picked. Still waiting on Lopez, but he is young and I hope he gets more chances. Thought Jimenez was useful in his few appearances. Like Stephens but we should be able to get a similar player. Always rooted for Jordan and appreciate that he is playing for the team he grew up loving, and it shows--but he is a journeyman. I would actually be happy if he gets picked and has a chance to play everyday, but I think the league has progressed to the point where he can't be considered first 11 material.

Adu doesn't even start regularly for Philadelphia. Don't think Adu fits Bruce's risk/reward approach.same here, even though I don't like Slice.

Not sure which is worse, the way the media mixed the Koolaid or the way Freddy guzzled it. Get the feeling that Novak is "tolerating" him. That poor little bastard; from being touted as the next Pele, to being left unprotected by Phila. That guy has fallen and fallen low.

Gotta be the media. Every hot shot teenage athlete has an ego about him, and if the media is gonna light the fire then obviously Freddy is gonna revel in the spotlight... need to stop slipping in that Everclear...

In the MLS expansion draft Wednesday, the Montreal Impact claimed.....
1. F Brian Ching, Houston Dynamo
2. D Zarek Valentin, Chivas USA
3. MF Justin Mapp, Philadelphia Union
4. D Bobby Burling, San Jose Earthquakes
5. MF Jeb Brovsky, Vancouver Whitecaps
6. MF Collen Warner, Real Salt Lake
7. MF Josh Gardner, Columbus Crew
8. F Sanna Nyassi, Colorado Rapids
9. D James Riley, Seattle Sounders
10. D Seth Sinovic, Sporting Kansas City
Don’t be surprised if some of these players are traded.
Riley has already been traded to Chivas USA for F Justin Braun and MF Gerson Mayen. Montreal acquired D Tyson Wahl from Seattle for allocation money.
“I understand Brian doesn’t want to be here, but we’d be delighted to have him,” said Impact Coach Jesse Marsch, who spoke with Ching this morning. “We’ll see where this goes.”
