Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

I think the route of signing a guy like BWP and Sam who became a RBNY stars is a better path.

Podolski?
Lucas Podolski - Rosicky double swoop. both out of favor and both can still ball and fill our needs. xavi, pirlo, or gerrard in the summer.

Podolski?
Nice to see the trend of naming unrealistic targets is continuing. Podolski will definitely find big teams coming after him in Europe if he leaves Arsenal.
Now Rosicky, seeing as he's 34, maybe he's willing to make the jump. But don't know how realistic that is either.

BWP and Poldi would be awesome! I'd try for Cubo, assuming he stays in MLS. Also find someone else for Sams position. The guy sucks. He's overrated by most of you.
Strenuously disagree on Sam.

Sam is great. He creates a lot of chances 1v1 and also does a great job at holding the ball and slowing down the play during counters so everybody else can catch up. I think he's been one of the most underrated players in the MLS.

I know Sal Zizzo has been released by SKC. He is a guy that I would like on the left if we end up losing. TH14, or just for bench depth.
He's a fringe player. He'd be ok for depth but he isn't some great difference maker.

I'd take him. Better than Convey and Steele. Really need to see where we go with Oyongo.

Zizzo would at the very least be a viable option off the bench, and not a bad one at $77k per year.

DP attacking mid and DP striker would be nice (assuming Cahill leaves, which he might as well if we are not planning on using him up top). Content with the rest of the team but the back line can use a change or two and the bench needs a total re-work

Who are we comparing with that we have now? Bover? Lade? Give me Zizzo all day.
