All the opponents have challenges - just bring our best

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

There's no easy road in the playoffs.  I'm just going to enjoy the mid-week games and whatever happens happens.

Why do they make brackets if they reseed?

Does TBA stand for "Turd Buckets Anonymous"? That really could probably work for any team we'd face.

NYCFC vs Philly on Wednesday and DC vs Cbus on Thursday

Well looking on the bright side is Philly win, we have an extra day to prepare for a known opponent. If they don't we'll play a team on one day less rest which could be huge. I am predicting boy city to win (how could you not based on the identical fixture today), and scum should get passed Columbus at home. Honestly DC is probably the toughest possible match up out of those 4, but I think we get it done.

I honestly don't have a clear preference of who we play. Would be fun to play the Scum, but it would also be fun to see them wallow in misery from an early playoff exit after their second half resurgence.

Haven't seen all the permutations, but hoping we get Philly next round. Don't think I can swing a DC trip next weekend but 100% can do Philly again ...

If Philly wins we are guaranteed to play them.

If they lose we will play DC-CLB winner.

Cannot play NYC in the next round.

Those are the possibilities.

Whoever we play its gonna be squeaky bum time for 180 minutes. Those are all good teams and anything can happen. Buckle up!

Would suck to try to get to Cbus on short notice.
Much easier to get to Chester or DC.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

This is great, I hate everyone in this bracket.

One thing I can't seem to find is away goals, mls says on the bracket page "Two-game series, aggregate-goal format." nothing about away goals. Does that mean there is no away goals rule? Would be appropriate considering we actually play pretty good on the road and are very good at home, meaning away goals would likely help us...

Sometimes I think the entire Red Bull existence has been some 19 year old kids football manager save file he only plays when he comes home drunk. - 'Mibabalou'

In playoffs, the tiebreaker should be seeding - a reward for having the better regular season.
