We missed winning the Shield by 3 points this last season and we played like hot garbage to start the year.  Focus on the CCL early in the year.  We have plenty of time to make up ground in the league.

Most of our focus early in the year should be squarely on Vancouver and CCL. We should feature our best XI for both legs and if we hopefully advance feature our best XI in the semis vs tough Mexican opposition. If that means throwing out less than full strength squads for some of those early MLS matchups then so be it. We've already proven we can overcome poor starts to the season. We've already achieved two Supporter's Shields in recent years. Winning the CCL will be 10X better than winning the Supporter's Shield IMO.

To be honest, I'd take winning the CCL over the MLS Cup.  Especially considering the struggles for MLS teams in the competition.

Fully expecting to see our best lineups in those games.  Marsch has always been good with playing our top guys (albeit too much of playing our top guys)  Would rather him use some roster rotation in the other MLS league games.

I'm really curious to see the rest of the schedule. Disappointed in when and where the Atlanta trip is but I might try to make the first game in Minnesota if I can.

Hoping for a Saturday night, warm weather game in Montreal. Been meaning to get back up there and that would be a good excuse.

It isn't lame. A lot of this was put together before Howard got injured. They likely thought that his return to NJ would be a pretty big deal...

Won't he be ready for the start of the regular season?

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

As far as this one, how about beat Vancouver and then not completely embarrass ourselves against a Mexican team.

Anyone know when the full schedule comes out? It was announced on the 7th last year.

I wonder if RBNY will have a trip to the latest football stadium in MLS, the StubHub Center!

Not many Sunday games which is good, we don't play nycfc till June.

Games on fox, that's cool.

Seems like RB plays Philly and the Crew every year near the end

10 Saturday games.

2 Wednesday, one of which against the scum.

2 Friday games, against NYCFC and TFC.

I will take this schedule all day. I do wish the Friday games were against crappy teams, I definitely need to take off work to go to the NYCFC game though. Not mad, it's in the summer, don't feel like working anyway.

Agree I really prefer Saturday games. Nice that the last game of the season is in DC in case it matters. Half debating Minnesota if I could do it on the cheap. Only other road game I'll definitely do is nycfc and I'll drive this time, I'm tired of taking the train and having it be an all day affair when I can get there in 40 mins by car.
