HON 0-1 Costa Rica. Full house.
So is it a good idea to play our WCQ against Costa Rica there??

The only argument against housing a USA game here would be those that wish to see a predominantly white crowd...So is it a good idea to play our WCQ against Costa Rica there??
Personally, I'm all in favor of having fans of foreign teams at the game. I think the majority should be home fans but having opposition fans is fine. The other aspect is that there is a large Latin population here that supports the USA. Why cut them off for fear that some might root for the "wrong" team?!

I didn't go to the game so I don't know how the crowd was but we already played them there in a friendly a few years ago.

Unsure what points you are trying to make here. The only argument against housing a USA game here would be those that wish to see a predominantly white crowd...

Do you think that crowds at other USMNT games are "predominantly white"? That USSF or US soccer fans are concerned about or want to control crowd demographics?
I think that the concern is more about the percentage of away fans, not their ethnicity. We face hostile crowds in many opposing venues. Is anyone concerned about the demographics of those crowds?
There will be an away section for the Ticos. Others will undoubtedly acquire tickets elsewhere in RBA, where I expect they will be treated better than we would, were the situation reversed.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Sure! Tight quarters in 201, where several ESCers sat last night. The stairwell is narrow, IMO insufficient for the full upper deck above the SW.

Wasn't surprised USA gave up the 1-0 lead, after all, look who was starting as a central defensive midfielder?

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Also I wouldn't call the US a D team, there's a couple of starters (Acosta, Villafaña) and everyone else is probably 2nd choice. So B is more accurate.

There many people in US Soccer circles that equate pro-USA crowd with white. It isn't explicit racism but more implicit. Columbus is selected because it's furthest from Mexican poplulations in a state that is predominantly white and in a stadium that can limit the crowd size. Look at the comments on Twitter about how games should be in the Pacific North-West.Unsure what points you are trying to make here.

The decision to not play any WCQ within spitting distance of the largest population in America is based on the implicit idea that minority populations, aka non-white, would be rooting against the nation they chose as home. While many people do have an affinity for their birth nation, you don't win them over and incorporate them further by running away.
It's the same bullshit theory behind the idea that taking refugees and immigrants makes us less safe.
Addendum: I'm in no way implying that any of this applies to anyone here as I think our fan base is quite inclusive. However, it is something that needs addressing given the very Bro-nature of the AO crowd.
