Tarek responsible for the first two goals with awful defending then rather than clear a ball, he blasts it into his own net. Austin down to 3-0 to a club team in Haiti with a couple minutes to play. Tarek looks worse than Tommy Redding did here. He was finally pulled in the 66th.

Horrible result for Austin..would have to score 4 and not concede a goal in the second leg. The Haiti team will park the bus in the second leg.

Solid finish by tarek into the side netting..
of his own goal - ouch

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

It sounds like the game might not happen. Haitian media is reporting the team only has 12 players and coaches available to travel to the US due to visa requirements.

So do we advance to ET on a neutral ground? Forfeit counts as a 3-0 loss right?

That would be some competitive bullshit. If that Haitian Team cannot travel to the US, due to visa requirements, then Austin should do the right thing and play them in a neutral site like DR was for the 1st leg. Austin chose to play their bench and got dominated. They should have prioritized this tournament over league play, especially considering that more Teams make it into the playoffs this season more than ever. They better do the right thing by that Haitian Team whom the players might be playing their only significant games of their lives! If not, Austin FC just pulled some Claudio Reyna shit to advance to the next round!
