For the first 80 minutes, some of the TnT players looked pretty good. I wonder if any of them will join MLS.

3 T&T starters have some previous MLS experience.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Welp, that didnt go well. France adds a few late goals to beat the US U-17s 3-0. Even worse, three players (two CBs) suspended for the Tuesday game against Zee Germans.

Mexico lost 2:0 to Honduras in the away leg.

US lose 2-1 (again) in Trinidad, but go through 4-2 on aggregate and also qualify for Copa America.

They quit after going up 1-0. A somnolent last 50 minutes as befitted a team with a (at the time) five goal advantage.

Apparently Dest missed his afternoon nap. Ive seen five year olds with better self control - just an awful double yellow. He needs a time out for the next few international windows

Interesting source for these observations.

and on cue

They are correct nonetheless.

Even I would have known to stop after the first yellow

Dest better not pull these temper tantrums on the real stage. This isnt the first time he has done this with the National Team. Someone needs to let him know his ego is not bigger than the National Team!

Who? Berhalter? Don't need a repeat of the Reyna mess.
Some teammates remonstrated with him on the field, with US soccer fans watching. If he doesnt learn from that, he never will. Fortunately, a complete disaster was avoided.

Which just happened in Toronto. Canada was up 3-1 on aggregate at 60th, then conceded 3 to Jamaica and lose on away goals! https://twitter.com/...serp|twgr^tweet

So apparently the corrupt CONCACRAP refs were going to give Mexico as much time as needed to score the equalizer

Going to extra time now and Honduras is now down to 10 men for excessively arguing the above point. Cant see Honduras surviving this

I was not surprised to see 9. Lots of delays. Ref also indicated that 2 more would be played.

Looks like Red was shown to a coach. HON still 11.

Now, there is the Red. No effect. On to PKs.
