Lesesne has made enough questionable decisions since taking over that I'm hoping we find a better coach for the off season. Will we? Probably not.
Has had so many big brain moments of stupid decisions that he's even admitted it was a mistake after the games a few times.
Subbing out our entire offense in the game last night. Having Morgan take the first penalty when the guy hasn't even sniffed on field action in months.
Constantly starting Barlow over Elias.
Sure he's more likeable than Struber and had the team looking a bit better but that's such a low bar that it's pathetic that these our shitty standards now.

Maybe without being buried by Struber to begin the season we have enough to finish somewhere in the 5-7 range in the East but that might be the ceiling.

Id like to give him a full year to see what he could do with some improvement in resources. I am doubtful the club will go out and get legit CAM, striker, and left back options for him, but I think he has done relatively well with similar resources as Struber. Some of his bonehead decisions are driven by who he has available on a very weak bench.
Yeah agree, although its hard to justify his decisions last night. I think he deserves more time and some say in reworking the squad in the off season.

It's a close call, but barring any drastic improvement through the remainder of the year, I'd be inclined to wish Troy luck in developing his coaching chops elsewhere and find a more experienced option over the winter. Troy had the sense to fix some of the obvious gaps in Struber's game plan, but I think a bit of luck has covered up some questionable decision making.
And this may be unfair judgement as an outsider of the org, but there's something about his vibe that doesn't exude confidence. Jesse stormed in and had the team fully bought into a cohesive game plan front to back from day one. The guy got into a heated argument with Ralf Rangnick during his interview! I think someone here said it best about Troy, he seems like he's just happy to be here and doesn't want to ruffle any feathers.

He gets another year. He inherited a shitshow and has largely righted the ship. There isn't much he can say as the team has pretty obvious deficiencies. Stuber would say that his players were "not on the level in their hearts" - I think that sort of honesty demoralizes guys.
Lesesne has been dealt a hand and has done the best he can with it.... this passing window was when they could have helped him out, but decided not to. Bring in a different coach, similar results I think at best. Mistakes were made, but with this roster, a coach needs to make a perfect plan to beat out other teams.

Same as with Struber.... I actually think both are good coaches, it's just this roster stinks, especially on the offensive end. Pep couldn't make this team score.
Does Pep have Haaland hanging out by the corner flag for most of the game?

But the answer is, as always, that the problems with this franchise lay well above the head coaches pay grade.

No coach is doing much of anything with this team. It is pretty irrelevant who the coach is.

Schneider has been in charge for 3 transfer windows and this team has gotten worse during that time period.
Hamlet has been sporting director since the marsch era and this team has not been able to replicate that success.
Those guys should be fired before a decision is made Lesesne.

In all competitions, he has 9 wins, 7 losses, and 2 ties (or 8, 5, and 5 if you want to count PKs as ties) with a team that can't score for shit.

With Struber the problem was Barlow and Kimala not being consistently able to find back of net. With Lesesne is the same with Barlow & Vanezir doing the same awful job. He should be given another year to find ways to make team better on offensive side of ball.
