Did that change correlate with Luqi's fall off?
Luqui didn't really have a falling off, more that he had an unprecedent explosion of goalscoring when he showed up here that he had never had in his career. Essentially he hit a hot streak, and the player we see now is the player he is. He's looked better under Lesesne because playing on the ground suits him a hell of lot better than Struber's boot ball, and the team has been (I think intentionally) more stretched back to front under Lesesne which gives him more room to dribble.
I think the current shape suits him as well as any. Or maybe to say that I'm not so convinced putting him in a classic #10 position will make him any more of that type of player.
