City won a Cup and their attendance has been poor too. NYC is a bad area for anything thats not the best. His is a good list.. Just making the point that this playoff streak outside of a couple dozen people here doesn't move the excitement needle. If it did, more people would be interested and have attended the match.
And yes to your other points. Loved the Miazga drama. I am Still only 80% sure he was mocking us.
Stadium was excellent last night atmosphere wise. Good crowd that was into it.

This! New Yorkers/Jersians have no shortage of entertainment options. We dont want to watch minor league teams. If Red Bulls signed Messi it would be the 1977 Cosmos and Studio 54 all over again. One of the hottest tickets in the area. It is not enough to just market USMNT internationals Adam, Long, Tolkin. I would gladly take players like a just past his prime Thierry Henry and impactful Tim Cahill again. Physical attendance was miles better 2010-2014, and there were occasional sellouts. Which is what I meant by from time to time. Now you only sell out for a friendly against a European power or if Miami comes to town. I want to see 18k night after night.IIRC, RBA was not a full house when they played.

not true. Many ny teams have been awful but have consistent attendance sell outs. Knicks are famous for this. Your asking the wrong question. The teams can be bad, but the leagues are the best. Theres no debate that the NBA, NFL, MLB, & NHL are the top leagues in the world for their sports.not true. The Knicks and Rangers play in MSG! There are so many corporate seats, and seats sold to travelers that those clubs could trot out teams of U14 kids and there will be 18k in attendance. You cant compare it to the demand for an MLS ticket. People will go to YS to watch the Yankees, but not necessarily NYCFC. You can better compare the Red Bulls to the Devils and Islanders.
