There's a stat on American Soccer Analysis called Goals Added that basically takes every action a player makes on the ball and assesses how it impacts a team's chances of either scoring or conceding.

 

Luquinhas ranked 99th in the league in that stat, 38th among wingers/midfielders.  On a per 90 basis, he's hanging out in the 130s.  There's a lot of room to upgrade from him.

Brian White is first with +.23. Unbelievable. Fucking Thelwell and Struber.

 

Interestingly, the highest Metro is Duncan at +.11 (minimum 1500 mins). Tolkin is next at +.08. That ranks 4th and 6th for fullbacks. Says a lot about this team!

He went a calendar year with 1 goal, 1 assist. For a DP. Stats are not everything, but that's just trash.

I agree stats are not everything but who was his supporting cast?

He also created contacted that resulted in many pks and other set piece goals.

Seems like many of our set piece opportunities were created by him.

The metric is slightly flawed.

If your the set piece taker for your team, you have a better chance to influence the outcome of your rating.

It also slighly rewards drawing fouls but some fouls like pks and around the box are more important then getting fouled in midfield.

So a guy like Luq, who's primary move is to draw fouls, should be way higher up on this list.  Shows you how bad he is at everything else.

As well is a rare "attacking" midfielder not allowed around set pieces because his shot sucks so much!
