Bild breaking these stories has me thinking that Austria is making these calls ... Not sure if that is good or bad, but seems like its not local rule.

I think this is more that Bild would have a connection to the agent of the coach.

That said, Austria is definitely making the hires.  I don't mind either way, just win.

Interesting how other media picked up the Forsberg thing pretty quick but its been mum since the original report about Schwarz.

Probably still likely this is the guy because I dont know what motivation BILD has to report on RBNY rumors

This is a boring story, no one cares. Forsberg is a big name, so it would make sense why that one was picked up

Rumors that Vedad Ibisevic, Volkan Bulut, and Daniel Fischer who all worked at Hertha Berlin may be joining Schwarz in New York.

"Schwarz, from whom Hertha separated in mid-April this year, not only wants to take his long-time assistant Volkan Bulut and video analyst Daniel Fischer with him to his overseas project, but also Ibisevic."

will say after looking more into this guys background very much looking forward to a coach who sets up his team trying to score some goals.  All the home shutouts teams had against us with Struber drove me nuts.  Several younger guys got decent moves to bigger leagues/clubs after working with him.  Like Jean Philippe Mateta, Arsen Zajharyan, Sebastian Szymanski and Nikola Moro

Ex Hertha coach Sandro Schwarz will be our new coach, per German publication Bild:
https://m.bild.de/sp...www.google.com/

He coached Hertha into relegation and has been without a club since...not very inspiring, but then Marsch didn't exactly light it up in Europe either so maybe it's a non issue.

Not excited for a guy that got his last team to the bottom of any league even if it's the Bundesliga.. And Hertha usually have enough money for good players so what's the excuse?!?!

I'm officially lobbying for Pedro Troglio...

He's built a dynasty with CD Olimpia in Honduras, 6 domestic titles since 2019 and won the 2022 Concacaf League...
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

If it's any excuse, Hertha has continued to struggle after he left and has been a revolving door or coaches. Seems like problems with that club are way deeper than the coach

November 2019, Jürgen Klinsmann became the new manager of Hertha BSC, replacing Ante Čović.

Klinsmann left the club in February 2020, after only 76 days in charge.

Assistant manager Alexander Nouri took interim charge of the team

Bruno Labbadia was put in charge in April 2020.

In January 2021, Labbadia was sacked as Hertha manager with the club in the relegation zone

His replacement was Pál Dárdai. After nine months Dárdai was terminated and replaced with Tayfun Korkut.

Korkut was terminated after just four months in charge with the club sitting 17th on the table

Korkut was replaced with Felix Magath.  After narrowly avoiding relegation, Magath was replaced with Sandro Schwarz as manager.

Schwarz was sacked in April 2023

Pál Dárdai took over the head coaching job for the third time but could not right the ship, and Hertha were relegated.
