I'm definitely interested, but finding a full size field has been very, very difficult.

If you can be sure we'll get that field in La Mirada, that's great, but that's quite a drive for a lot of people for something that isn't a sure thing.

Even though Victoria Park wasn't a sure thing when we did the 5v5 tourney, the worst that could've happened is that we all went to the OCP before the last game of the regular season.

We could do another short sided tourney at Victoria Park, just by finding out when the softball fields are "First come, first serve". Worst case scenario, we don't get a field and just go to the OCP.

But Victoria Park is pretty big, and we should be able to find room for short sided games somewhere.

This.

It went really well the first time around.

I just called the reservation # for Victoria Park. They now have a softball league playing there every Saturday and Sunday.

Soccer fields are really hard to find, but if we can find a Softball field, we can do short sided games.

La Romeria Park in Torrance is about 5 miles straight down 190th from Victoria Park and the OCP.

I've been playing pickup games there on Sundays at 2:00. It's a nice field, and could easily accommodate 2 5v5 or 7v7 fields.

Fake Edit: I just called Torrance Parks and Rec. La Romeria is currently open on Saturday December 19th.

It's surrounded by nice houses though - I'm fairly certain local residents will complain to the Policia if they see any cerveza.

Have one of the tourney rules include the restriction alcohol consumption to post-game at the OCP.

This was done when Gunner hosted the VSUFC v. B&G at that high school.

Isaac is looking at an other field, but we are pretty positive that this is going to happen somewhere in the South Bay in the next couple of weeks.

If he doesn't get the other field, or it costs too much, I have a plan.
