I expect a bit of rotation but not as much as the Portland game. RSL had a rough home game last time out and are gonna be desperate. Big opportunity here on the road to get a statement win on the road.

I met him but in all honesty never got close enough to know his deal. What exactly does Petke smell like? Citrus? Woody, pine aromas? Anyone?

RSL hasn't been good to start the year. Might get ugly for Petke.

Let's beat them first, then I'll worry about Petke...

Mike Petke ... still miss you

Good luck, for the rest of the year.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

We don't have a player as skilled as Vela but we will put a lot of pressure on rsl.

Petke needs someone on that team to step up and be a leader. I think it will be a good game.

Petke will have RSL motivated.  Count on it.

I didnt see the match, but from what I read and listened to about it, it didnt seem like motivation was the problem for RSL against LAFC. It was basically Bradey outcoaching Mike.

RSL did get screwed on that first goal - about as blatant an offside as you could get.

Petke needs this game. Not just cause it's against us, but because of the ass pounding they took last week. Count on a quick sense of urgency from RSL.

Is the assumption Mike didnt have his team motivated to play in their home opener?

If we dont win this game it will be because Petke fixed their gameplan/tactics.

This game won't be easy. Elevation, across the country, and against a team that will come out motivated after a bad opener.

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams
