The good news is that Adams spent a year and a half looking like eerily similar in the USL before he became an absolute beast.
The bad news is CCJ can't use being a 16yr old with braces as an excuse.

Wearing #23, aka Cristian Sleiker Cásseres Yepes.
He started, picked up a yellow in the 13th minute and was subbed out in the 49th, possibly a tactical move after a teammate picked up a second yellow in the 46th. Venezuela scored in the 68th, 1-0 final.

Best I can find is a 10 min highlight, no full match downloads but glad that he started and glad they won. Looks a big bigger than I can remember but that might be he's playing against smaller other players...

He took at least two free kicks, each to the far post.
Looked like he got beaten by an attacker twice.

Official match report shows he was subbed out in the 94th. May have just been some gamesmanship and when he got to the sidelines he jumps off and runs over to the bench?

Supposedly stretchered off the field... trying to a source to confirm other than Twitter.

I wasn't watching, but saw a screenshot from a stream, he was definitely stretchered off. Heard it looked like gamesmanship given Venezuela was up 1 in stoppage time.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Didnt tyler get injured in the u20 concacaf tournament like two years ago?
Maybe he's taking the he's tylers replacement too seriously.

Assisted on the winning goal in the 51st minute.
Played a free kick to the near post, which was flicked in.
Went down in the 94th at midfield, then jumped up and played on, only to lay down as he was being subbed.
I could not judge the seriousness of the knock.

So Venezula finished top of Group A head of Brazil, Columbia, Chile (host), and Boliva.
I have watched 0 of the matches but here is how the games have gone
Venezuela 1
Columbia 0
CCJ - Started, played 48 mins and got a yellow
Chile 1
Venezuela 2
CCJ - Started and was subbed at some point not 100% when
Brazil 2
Venezuela 1
CCJ - Started and subbed of in 72
Boliva 0
Venezuela 1
CCJ - Started subbed off in 52
They qualified for final round which is a 6 team round robin so 5 more games with top 4 qualifying for u20 world cup (Poland, May-June and top 3 for pan american games (Peru, July-Aug).
Venezuela 1
Uruguay 1
CCJ - Started, played full match
2/2 EDIT
Venezula 2
Brazil 1
CCJ - Started and subbed off, can't find out what min.
I have no idea how he's playing and in what formation but playing this many games in a short time is kinda crazy and I hope he doesn't get hurt. But at least he should be in shape when he comes back after the last match 2/10.
6 starts so far is a lot of football, the team might even give him a week or two off before the season.

Well very disappointing for him I'm sure but not playing in those tournaments will be helpful to us.
I wonder if he is CM #3 right now or if is Valot / Beze.
