Special Tribute to Jair Garcia

This special event will take place promptly at 5:02 pm, just before the National Anthem. We have a very nice banner to display during the moment of silence and will need everyone's help in pulling this off (it's quite large and heavy).
As you can imagine the schedule before kick off at Galaxy matches is very tight and this will happen on time. Members of Eddie's family will also be in attendance for this evening.
Please, please, please arrive early and lend a hand.

I'd like to ask that everybody planning on coming to this Sunday's match to please get into the stadium early. Thanks to help from the FO and one unnamed Galaxy season ticket holder we are planning a special tribute/moment of silence in memory of Gunner's brother Jair, who was killed in Afghanistan on August 1st.

Is there anything special people need to do, meet in a specific place etc... if they want to assist?

If I can assist in anyway, besides helping get LARSers in on time, let me know SH18
I think that I've got the necessary volunteers. Just please be in 137/138 before 5pm.

The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

with jair's death.
last weekend i was in seattle visiting
jonathan and miguel
and jair came up in a conversation.
within a second, we all closed our mouths and
bowed our heads.
then we all told our "jair stories."
if you knew him
you had one.
everyone who came in contact with him had one.
i'm convinced of that.
i haven't posted about it because i mainly use
this board as a springboard to my normal asshole day.
but i knew jair and his son and his wife and his brother
and i have nothing but love for them in my heart.
jair can be summed up in some simple words from a
friend:
"he was the best, man."
those words came from clayton froom after
i called him with the bad news.
i'll leave it at that for right now.
i have so much more to say
but can't seem to find the words.
jair ruled.
