The Galaxy are looking at Honduras' center back
http://www.goal.com/...-galaxys-sights

With the worst defensive record in the league last season, the Los Angeles Galaxy are in desperate need of shoring up their defensive ranks. Honduran Muma Bernárdez could be part of the answer.

...because Central America has great defenders
...because we all know how successful spanish speaking center backs are in this league
...because he stopped Mexico for one game

I haven't seen much of him outside the qualifier, but I'll tell you one thing that's a huge positive for him. He plays with HUEVOS. Something our team hasn't done in a LOOOONG time.

Even so, Jamesey brings up a lot of good points. Communication is a critical one. This is 'merica and here our stoppers and wide backs speak English.

Any 'merican player who's spent a few Saturday afternoons down at their local park in a pick up game should speak enough Spanglish to be able to communicate.

It takes a little while longer for a any non English speaking player to come into the team and gel, but all you need is time on the training field.

With the worse defensive registry in the league the last season, Los Angeles Galaxy is in desperate necessity to prop up their lines of defense. The first candidate who appears to reinforce the equipment of David Beckham is Honduran rescuing Victor Bernárdez, who would arrive at the equipment for the next season. Another candidate who is mentioned is nothing else nor nothing less than Mexican Rafael Márquez, who at the moment plays with the Barcelona of Spain.

So Rafa Marquez and Victor Bernardez?

If he's going to be our stud centerback, it's good to get him sooner rather than later. We need chemistry from that backline as soon as possible. We need him on Bruce's system as soon as possible.
