Henry was terrific, thought Bustamante was very good, especially considering it was his first start.  Kimura solid, as were the Dax and the central defenders.  Thought Steele was involved, his touch just wasn't as sharp as it has been in his better games.  Turning point was probably the Osorio play.  Pathetic that he didn't get carded -- the refs must have missed it.

If I were Petke, I might have subbed in Sekagya after the 2nd goal to kill the game, but there was really nothing to complain about tactically.  Thought we missed Sam for much of the game.  The attack looked lethargic at worst, deliberate at best, missing the flair he has provided recently.

Hero: tough call...I'll go Dax for stepping up to defend his teammate...so many ways you can go here

Bum: Osorio...if the Tornoto gig doesn't work out, don't worry, you'd fit right in at DC

Not even a fucken yellow. Disgusting. Bustamante looked real good. He looked like he can develop into a good 2 way mid.

So in a calendar year Kimura has had his face broken by Cahill, gotten a concussion and perforated eardrum on a blatant NHL style elbow to the head, and then had a ball kicked in his face at close range.

Why does everybody hate Kosuke?

Last night was his best game I've seen him play, by far.  No hate for him personally, great effort and attitude, but before last night, he just hasn't been good enough

What do we call this?  "Pole-ing"?

Since Petke put himin his place Henry has been running hard and encoluraging teamates on field, a noticible diffreence since his benching.  The guy can play and be the best every game he plays if he wants to and seems to be in that mood agaoin.  Let's hope he stays like this.

I don;t think anyone can put TH in his place.  He acquiesced, and it has worked out for the best, so far.

IMO, his mood has been quite odd, since their little dust-up.  Cool, if anything.  The subdued goal celebration, less animation on the field.  OTOH, he ran his butt off yesterday, and acknowledged the corner sections in the SW with a modest hand-clap on the second half CKs.

Osorio's ass is getting suspended. He wound up after Kimura was already on the ground.

I have absolutely no idea how Espindola got that to go in, but I'll take it! It was a terrific effort to try to keep the chaos in front of the net alive in any case.

If Jerkoffivivc didn't get suspended, I wouldn't be shocked if Osorio didn't either

(and Henry's look on Spin's goal was so, so, Gallic)

Happy for the 3 points. We looked mediocre. Bustamonte nice pass on Henry goal besides that ehh. Whats with the Backe ball forever passing around the backline???? Thankfully TFC can't finish or they could have had like 3. What a goal by Spin. Why so late and little with the subs??? 1st in the East!!

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

That's what you do when a team is packing 10 men in their own half, especially if you're already up a goal.  You'll notice after the first few square passes Toronto players started to creep forward and spaces opened up further up the field.

Couldn't really ask for more out of Bustamante, he already looks a much more composed player than he did earlier in the season.  He had a great understanding with the rest of the midfield, showed up in the right spots, kept possession well, and put in the work defensively as well.  50 completed passes on your pro debut is nothing to shake your fist at.
