Each preferred to Parker.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Only Long.  Duncan's a different position.

Hope Duncan is able to see the field during the friendly.  Pumped for him because i thought no one was noticing the improvements he made here besides us.

Brian Sciaretta has been singing his praises on Twitter fairly regularly. I suspect he has some influence at US Soccer (not direct, but they read what he writes, Im sure).

The wing back position is still open on the usmnt. We know dest secured one spot but a strong showing could push duncan up the depth charts for the other spot

i love duncan (since taxi's departure, he's probably up there in terms of favorite current RBNY players). that being said, there is no way in hell they will bench Dest for Duncan longer term.  maybe for a friendly here and there, but the right wingback position is pretty much set in stone for the next 2 WC cycles. Left wingback is still open on the USMNT, and Duncan has shown he can play there, so maybe he locks that position down instead?

He has not been good on the left when he's been forced to play there.

Jonathan Bornstein and Carlos Bocanegra.

The bar is sometimes pretty low.

Hell theyd probably try Long in a pinch.

Dest can play on the left, and if he does, Duncan has a shot:

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Doesn't Antonee Robinson more or less have the left fullback spot locked down now?

He does for the moment. But Dest looks like the real deal.

I'm not sure about that - as it relates to Duncan,

I think Dest----Duncan might not be too far from Robinson----Dest
