Agreed....now folks are just being greedy trying to take advantage of the relevance of the Peru National Team now, that they went to the 2018 World Cup (after 36 Years) and making the recent Copa America Final!
Isnt there a league rule to make mass confrontation of officials a fine/punishable offense? I thought they implemented that recently when it was starting to get out of hand. Im looking for fines and retroactive yellow cards from the disciclipanry committee.
You never see traveling supporters outside of the designated section(s) in England either.
As well in the Bundesliga. Those leagues have implemented such measures to eliminate hooliganism. In South America, certain derbies dont allow away fans at all! Just look at what happened during the Copa Libertadores Final between River Plate and Boca Juniors! The 2nd leg had to be played in Madrid due to security issues OUTSIDE the stadium!
As much as pundits want to hype up MLS derbies, we are not at the level yet of hooliganism. Outside of some bad apples, the general public are calm. Even in the NFL, where fans, like the Philly Eagles, who are douchebags, you can go to Lincoln Field with a Giants jersey. Just expect heckling on another level all game and if you have a thick skin and level head, what do you care?
So why cant Adidas make a retro Metro jersey using their own template? Slap the RedBull crest on an AC Milan jersey and you have retro night! Its not as if Nike has exclusive rights to the kit templates. Now, slapping on MetroStars I understand...
I don't see how Kaku isn't suspended for a few games at the least. It's just ridiculous that it takes this long to announce it if they are suspending him.
The problem is there is no prior event that has occurred within MLS like this. MLS might be avoiding the whole issue and putting the issue in RedBulls hands to discipline Kaku. Keep in mind, the new player CBA is to negotiated this offseason.
