Maybe we'll be wrong, but improvements seem like a very convenient excuse to lower capacity and make attendance look not as bad.

why would they care about that though?  They're 'selling' plenty more tickets vs, people who actually show up aren't they?

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

those tarped sections on the player bench side should be converted into concession areas/party decks. the tarped section closest to ESC and VA should be designated as an Empanada deck along with beer carts.

FO just makes up the numbers anyway.
Why go to the trouble of covering or removing seats?
Just announce capacity of 20,000, and Att of 18,000!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I mean at this point they should just announce 100,000 for every game.

Didn't Marc De Grandpre say 5 years ago "In 5 years time, we can sell out every game". If he decreases capacity by enough he will be right!

Brutal.
I guess doing this project during the offseason made too much sense.

Sounds like a reason for the club to give u free upgrades

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I talked to my Rep. The North Endzone Scoreboard is fully installed. The Southward Scoreboard is almost complete and will be ready for the Pantoja Champions league match. I cant see what upgrades are required to take out seating in the upper deck.

That really stinks. Hopefully they do something to compensate. What section were your seats in?

First row of 217. I know it was underpopulated but liked being in that first row of upper deck across from south ward. Seems weird to kill sections behind goal.

Asked for more info. Wouldnt be surprised to find out seats are still there for uswnt games etc.

Rep said something about doing bar type areas up near skyboxes but didnt seem to know much.

That's wild. I switched from 218 to 201 this season, but I also love the view from behind the goal which we are attacking, and was fully planning on still sitting in 218 for 1st halves of games.

A bar/terrace area was my initial thought when I first heard the news.

More i think about it, think rbny is following us soccer plan to squeeze more $ from existing fans instead of growing support.
