Also loved the defending from Pirlo on the Timbers goal.

We all dream of a team of 38 year old Pirlos

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

i was at the Timbers vs NYCFC game this weekend....nyc without Villa is not a very good team. Sean Johnson can ball though. That guy needs to get more looks with the USMNT

I don't want him in a USMNT uniform after what he and Bill Hamid did during the 2012 Olympic Qualifying tournament.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig and Celenio Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello and Mike Vallo

"Metro..."

Yeah, I saw the highlights and thought he had a great game with a bunch of amazing saves.

Totally blew up my plans to travel to England for the matches.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

So emails between Emirati government officials and City Football Group higher ups prove NYCFC, and CFG generally, is a front for the United Arab Emirates to boost their reputation abroad, part of a concentrated effort to raise the profile of the petrostate, preferably at the expense of Qatar.

I said it before - CT is Metro territory.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Weird to see both teams earn a road point.
