Source close to the team confirming that #RBNYMLS_2022_Team_RBNY_2022.png  are indeed signing Canadian international Tyler Pasher. Left-footed wide player could potentially relieve load on John Tolkin in season’s closing months.

That from Ben Cork

He hasn't started a game for the truly horrid Houston Dynamo in three months. What a signing.

Why was he waived by Houston?

Pasher's been cut loose by both Houston (last week) and SKC (a few years ago).  Has mostly been a USL player.

He looks to be a striker/forward though.... wonder why ben cork says he's Tolkien depth... maybe Stuber sees something ala Long

He would displace Tom Barlow as third oldest on the team.

Is he really a Tolkin backup? Most action this year has been at RW.

Career stats. Has played a lot on the left in various roles. Probably a better fit as Tolkin insurance but can also play in attack.

Morgan wasnt a wingback before last season either.

Kinda what I've been saying.   With empty roster spots, no excuse not to pick up a top USL level guy to backup Tolkin at a bare minimum.     Of course we can and should do better, but its something.

Well, Seattle was after him, and they know what they are doing?

He had 10 goals in 15 appearances in USL two years ago.  That's probably what caught Houston's attention.

Available immediately might be the best thing with 10 matches remaining.

Elias will be a forgotten guy on Metrodle soon enough

giving this guy a shot is most likely better than letting DNealis get minutes at LB/LWB.

Why was Long waived by Portland?

Because he was not a good central midfielder.
