One or two MORE league losses can certainly be a big problem. Depending on the baseline, it can absolutely mean missing out on a home playoff game or missing the playoffs altogether. Last year, an extra 3 points would have meant we would have hosted the 1st round rather than playing away. One or two losses in league play is not that big of a hit since you can still qualify for the playoffs.

That is nonsense.
Humbug!
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Or missing the right to host the cup final should you make it.
Im all about CCL but everything else IMO is a distraction.

Probably. It seemed like Marsch did everything he could to not take the final seriously. I remember being hammered downstairs at Legend's furious at Marsch. That's all I really remember.

Oh, come on, that's revisionist history. He started all backups the previous weekend vs Philly:
Lineup: Robles, Zizzo, Perrinelle, Murillo, Lade, Muyl, Martins, Davis, Keita, Etienne, Veron. Subs: Kljestan, Wright-Phillips, Adams.
Compare that to the final lineup:
Lineup: Meara, Lawrence, Long, Escobar, Murillo, Adams, Martins, Davis, Kljestan, Muyl, Wright-Phillips. Subs: Zizzo, Veron, Keita.
They went all out to win that final.

Yea, the only complaint I remember having with Marsch that game was that he stayed with his top choice lineup for too long.Oh, come on, that's revisionist history. He started all backups the previous weekend vs Philly:

Then he switched it up by throwing Zizzo on...Yea, the only complaint I remember having with Marsch that game was that he stayed with his top choice lineup for too long.
But yeah, not taking it seriously is just not true.
