To be totally fair, all they did was bang that damn drum with the same beat for 90 minutes. I heard no singing minus the occasional "FIRE!" every once in a while. That being said, still louder then any United or NYCFC support for a game ive been to.

Omg this is so true lmao. Sat in the section next to them, I'd say they had 25 people and half 10-12 were banging drums, and would say "Fire" every 5 minutes and would maybe chant something in spanish every 10-15 mins. Section 8 are pathetic.

rebroadcast on MSG is up at midnite if you're around.
Somehow nobody at MSG has figured out that when you're rebroadcasting a game its a good idea NOT TO SHOW THE GOD DAMN FINAL SCORE IN THE TICKER....

Gulbrandsen did not look happy to be coming on as a sub. Looked like he was almost sulking on tv.
Sulking and then playing the way he did (including that stupid foul) is no way to get into the starting lineup.

Dax is a class act. Stayed and signed autographs for every last fan that wanted one, from the looks of it. I'm sure that this move will ultimately be seen as a winner (as the Dax-DeRo trade turned out to be), but I can't help it: I miss him.

I really don't blame him... The guy is starting quality, wants to further his career, and then gets convinced to come to a team that basically says he's gonna start in a 2 striker formation. Now he realizes that isn't the case, and also probably realizes that he's never going to overtake BWP as the starter.
He'll get over it... And he's gonna be gone because nobody with his quality is going to be accepting of being a backup.
He looks at his countryman, Ola Kamara who's starting and scoring a ton for Columbus and he compares it to his own situation. ANd both he and Kamara basically put up the same numbers for the same exact Norwegian team.

22k announced and in no way was that a bullshit number. Bastian drew close to 7,000 of that alone judging from all the Bayern and Germany tops I saw. You'd think someone would notice this and get a big name who can still play and make a difference to fill all those empty seats. My friends from Buffalo made the trip and they were very impressed with RBA. A guy in front of me who spent half an hour on line for a beer only to be told they just halted beer sales was somewhat less impressed.
No way there were only 3,000 empty seats. A bunch of Bayern jerseys, and a loud Hungarian crowd, but we did not have 22K in the building.

The FO knows the actual numbers, but will never disclose them. Wikileaks is our only hope.
What numbers? How many tickets sold, including STs & individual or groups? How many freebies handed out? That's the total distribution.
Next, how many of each category were actually scanned into the stadium?
It did seem like a good turnout, though. High teens, IMO.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I'd say about 17K. Usually runs about 5K below announced with obvious games excepted.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Agree, on all points.
