Depends where.

I've heard of pickup games in the UCI area that happens on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately I have no idea where & what time exactly.
"Last month I was in the Canary Islands, and I met up with Armada Sur, the supporters group for CD Tenerife. When the subject of MLS comes up one of the first things they ask me about is if I've heard of the Riot Squad and they mention that one of them has a LARS shirt, and describes the gask mask guy logo.

A suggestion: There's this park I go to for pick-up hoops called West Grove Park in Garden Grove, not far from the B&D. There's 2 fields: 1 with regulation size goals and fields and another plain field. You'll need to bring nets for the goals. The plain field would probably be best for pick-up games especially if there's a smaller turnout. Saturdays there are usually league games going on so Sunday may be best. Anyone interested for Sunday pick-ups in this park?

EDIT: Here's a map to the place. Near the 405 & 22 fwys. Also near LBC if any LBC'ers wanna play.

I am up for it. I have just recently moved to Cypress from England and have been looking for football (soccer) teams and had no luck whatsoever.

Ramses blew it. He has wrecked the W&M name for good. "Besmirched" according to Chalky. BESMIRCHED!

LARS OC needs to get their shixnit together and make a REAL pickup team.

ROK, take the reins!

DO IT!

Just find as many people as you can and start a pick up team, thats the easiest way. Meet people at games or work that play soccer and go to a park. When you start playing I am sure people will see you, jump in and become regulars. Then you can play other teams in the LARS Cup.

Awright then, let's give this a try.

Sunday, 1pm at West Grove Park in Garden Grove.

Meet at the plain field by the basketball courts.

^ So did this game ever happen? I live, seriously, a 5 minute drive from there, over by Pacifica HS. I wish I wouldve seen this sooner, I probably wouldve shown up to play!

Um no, I totally forgot about this as I was watching the NFL playoffs with friends. I suppose we can try to start this after Super Bowl.

EDIT: Or we can try playing on Saturday afternoons. Some of my friends have been flaking on playing pick-up hoops so soccer would be a good substitute for exercise.
