The frustrating thing is that the company line regarding DPs has seemingly been:

a) Wait until after the World Cup because that's when all these great names will become available

b) It's really hard to sign international players during the winter transfer window, so the summer window is more likely

By dismissing any major signings in this window, management is either admitting that they're clueless or have no money (or both).

Let's be honest, if they sit out this window here's how the next major DP signing will most likely play out:

-Names will leak in December/January

-Targeted player(s) will balk at leaving European team in midseason

-Player(s) will join RBNY in summer window (July 2015)

-Player(s) will be exhausted from full season/out of shape/unable to gel with new team and be unimpressive for remainder of 2015

-Player(s) will vow much improved performance in 2016 season after full preseason of conditioning and work with teammates.

So essentially by putting off the signing until 'next year' the chances are pretty high that they'll be writing off the 2015 season as well.

To me, it always seemed like having a big named lined up for this summer was a no-brainer. Let the guy have the 2nd half of this season to get settled with Henry still around. That way the new guy is in place and better positioned to transition into becoming the face of the franchise for 2015.

If you hit even with the American Club, in addition to contract millionaire will perform with Ronaldinho the Frenchman Thierry Henry, his partner in Barcelona in two seasons.

According to the player himself, the official announcement will be made in the next few days. And everything that involves the negotiations involving Ronaldinho and his brother and businessman Ahmed requires great care. At the time of negotiating with Flamengo, Ahmed came to give the word that Ronaldinho would wear the shirt again Grêmio. On occasion, the Olympic stadium was being prepared for the feast of the presentation, speakers were put in place, but the end of the story was dramatic for the Tricolor Gaucho. The party ended up happening in Gávea, and Ronaldinho has aroused the fury of the gremistas.

Now, the issue has been kept confidential. Ahmed seeks better financial situation for his brother, who also wants to act in some place where you can still enjoy prestige. The high figures of football, however, may be able to convince Ronaldinho and Assis of the Red Bulls is really the best option

Well, the dead giveaway that this is a fake is that they don't even know Ronaldhino's brother's name is "Ahmed". Geez.
