Could it be that Marsch pushes out the same dude who hired him?

Unless Ali's quick departure from LA was for a personal situation that is still ongoing, this is weird and hints at some changes.

Didn't Sacha suggest there would be personnel changes in a recent article?
Outside of poor playoff performances, hard to dismiss the consistency in regular season performance. RBNY has best home record in the league since the new stadium opened in 2010.
However, it's clear something is going on. The meetings last week, Ali's MIA in articles. Is it possible that Ali, not Marsch, could be headed to Europe?

Perhaps the Front Office just thought that given Dax's importance to the club, the statement would sound better/more heartfelt coming from his manager than from the GM.

Fan base is still upset on how petke got fired and some fans are annoyed at the sam trade to DC.
For a team that has done well, ali is still a controversial figure on how he manages the front office.
Marsch is more popular and it makes sense for him to break the bad news and comfort fans that everything will be okay.

It's such a slow offseason we are debating whether Curtis is on his way out over him not being mentioned in a press release about Dax...
No. We are debating it based on reported rumors of Dennis Hamlett being promoted to technical director, Curtis canceling a speaking appearance at the last minute, Curtis not being at the MLS Draft, and now him not speaking in a press release about the trade of the team's captain. This isn't exactly tin foil hat stuff.

He left the draft and skipped a few public speaking dates and has been MIA since. Now add in a big transaction for the club that continues his absent presence with the club.

Absolutely. This isn't just something we dreamed up.

PANTS shopping takes time folks.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
