My name is the Righteous Reverend Thomas Mack, and I'd normally say that you owe me a beer, but I bet you aren't quite legal enough to procure one on my behalf.
Nevertheless, you are here. Read threads before posting, get the flow of the Squad, know that as a noob you will make some online mistakes and please don't take it personal when some OG's and pseudo-OG's call you on it. You'll be doing it next year to someone else...
LARS has one rule: don't be a dick.
Others will chime in later with their points of view, but this is a good starting point.
So... once again, welcome to the Los Angeles Riot Squad. Buy a fucking scarf.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Once the season starts, we'll have threads planning the away games viewing parties... usually its the 6740 in Whittier, the spiritual home of LARS...even though we've got about a month left is there a place where LARS hangs out/drinks, a bar or anything?

i think you'll fine that with the exception of "the righteous reverend thomas mack" we all pretty much abstain from drinking of any kind.

For historic purposes, I'm gonna negate that comment. The original "away home" was the CBC in Alhambra and more official events happened there than the 6740. Now, for a while, the 6740 was a key location, but it is in no way the "spiritual home" of LARS.
It is the spiritual home of the "Whittiots", but that is a longer story.
For the last two years, LARS has had larger gatherings at places like the BRITISH&DOMINION, the LA SOCCER CLUB, and even the good ol' RED CAR.

I'd go to any of them they all are within descent driving distances. I live in long beach (hawaiian gardens), and my cousin lives in carson, literally 2 mins away from hdc.

Welcome brotha! Yo if you have nothing to do on a Friday night(like many of us) we have a pick up game ever week. Check it out here
