US Soccer is as corrupt as the day is long, just like FIFA itself. The USMNT is never going to be competitive until there is a complete change in leadership in this country.

Brazil has historically the most corrupt federation in world history and they are the best team in history.  The Italian FA is probably the most corrupt of the big European countries and they have been doing very well for the past century.  All of these whispers and conspiracies of USSF corruption do not actually impact whether we can defend against Costa Rica or put a shot on target against T&T.  No one is making backroom deals for our players to throw games or select inferior players.  Even if all of the allegations about SUM/MLS/USSF collusion are true, there is no causal connection that can be drawn to our players terrible performances against Costa Rica and T&T.

Frankly I wish Geoff Cammeron had run after reading that Player's Tribune piece.

Cameron did not actually write that piece and in practice may have had very little actual role in crafting it besides just signing off on it.  I know a guy who used to work at the Player's Tribune and all articles are written by ghost writers.  Some articles have more athlete participation than others but people should take everything they publish with a very heavy grain of salt.

Player's Tribune ... articles are written by ghost writers.

Then, find that ghost writer & make him/her USSF president!
P.S. We are lucky that Pulisic did not declare for Croatia.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

To want Wynalda or Cameron or any player without extensive business experience to run ussf is insane. It is a business. It needs to follow laws and regulations. It needs to allocate funds. It needs to generate funds. It needs to communicate. It needs to hire many people. It needs to overlook the entire soccer landscape. Bottom line, it needs a CEO that knows what's going on or the organization could go belly up.

Does the new guy meet your criteria?

Based on the information available to me, I think Cordeiro and Carter both have the qualifications to run the ussf effectively.

#4 in the video above is Sacha confrontation with Jozy in the 2017 playoffs.  I'm glad Red Bull moved on from Sacha, but he did show a lot of fight in that series, even if his play wasn't good enough.  Fuck Altidore for flopping like a wet noodle and fuck Bradley for sticking up for him.

Last night's USMNT friendly not being a World Cup prep match may have reminded me of their gutless performance in qualifying.  I hope those two never see the pitch wearing the Stars & Stripes again.

When we play Toronto it should be rotten vegetable night with all fans receiving a rotten vegetable courtesy of Yanmar.

When they hire the new USMNT Head Coach, they should have a friendly over Labor Day Weekend, and make it the Jozy/Michael Bradley/Clint Dempsey/Tim Howard testimonial.

Jozy is by far our best striker and it isn't even close.  Fuck him, but he's all we've got until some young player becomes something worthwhile.

Fine with the other three playing in a testimonial and nothing more.

Team USA won't get a single dollar from me until he's completely off the team.

Why? He grew up with this team.

Why? He grew up with this team.

He didnt grow up enough. He took almost no responsibility for the USMNT exit and showed zero class and respect for his old club with his antics in the playoffs. Some players wont even celebrate a goal against a former club, nevermind pull the bullshit he did trying to Sacha carded.
