He deserves it. The man has been fantastic for us for well over a year now.

Outside of possibly Justin Mapp, he could very well be the best winger in the league right now. Every single time he touches the ball you sense something dangerous can happen. Thank god he's staying healthy so far this season.

This is the player who I had hoped we had gotten when he was signed in summer 2012. Keep up the good work Mr Sam!

He's arguably our MVP through 7 games (him or Robles, I guess).
I agree. He's in fantastic form right now and is clearly a gifted player on the wing.

Did you ever know that you're my hero
You're everything a Metro should be
I could fly higher than an eagle
You are New York's Sam on the wings

Great wide player. It's been said before but he's truly become Dane with actual skill. I really think he's improved his game a lot since even joining the team, and it seems Petke motivating (benching) him on occasion last year really paid off in his effort and focus this year. He's equally a threat to beat someone 1v1 as he is to find a good pass...all with great pace.
Anyway, well deserved thread.

Next to Henry, he's the most dangerous man with the ball at his feet. His footwork is just nasty.

Everytime he makes a touch I yell "LLOYD SAM ON THE BALL!" because it could always lead to something exciting.

He's been playing 90 minute games without any noticeable fatigue or extra-tiredness like we saw with him last season, where often he was panting after 25 minutes. That's been great progress.

i've noticed that as well, he must've done some work with respect to fitness during the offseason. good for him.
