We can't do well if Reyes isn't at least as good as Parker, or if Pendant 2021 isn't much better than Pendant 2020.    They don't need to be All Stars, but we need to be as good or better all over the field.  We can't be good if Kaka's replacement (TBD - none of the new players) isn't as good as Kaka when Kaka's good.     That's a lot of "ifs."

To me its a bit of shit or get off the pot, they were seriously interested in bringing the guy in, failed for a variety of reasons, got renewed hope with the turmoil at Seads club but havent taken it any further.

Norkopping is probably hoping he has another strong season (7g/11a in 2020) or half season and they can cash in during the summer at an even higher amount than they were asking for from RBNY.

I think if NY is still interested in making it happen its going to have to be now or in the summer. Id wager theres a greater possibility his value goes up than down over the next few months.

Harper transitioning from a summer signing to a winter signing seems like the logical pivot, but a guy with 1 senior match isnt comparable to a player 2 years older who has produced consistently in a decent league, before his move to England and after.
