Holy shit that's a long quote; might want to shorten it so the blogger can get their hits.

Awesome article, really interesting to see the quotes that tie "the plan" to what other Red Bull teams had already been doing for years. When we heard about "corporate synergy" at the start of the season we just assumed it meant having the logo shoved further in our face and sending our best players straight to Leipzig, this is the first time we're hearing about how it impacts what we're actually seeing on the field.

If they were to explain this during the first town hall their would have been a lot less angry fans. It makes sense having all coaches on all red bull clubs from academy up to senior level push the same system of play so that when a player goes down you can easily replace them. This will create a lot of depth. Jessy Marsch is just being a good soldier by going exactly to the Ralfball plan. This isn't Jessy's team, this isn't Curtis 300pg plan, this isn't DeGrandpre's vision. The orders are coming straight from Austria. Curtis as much as I still think he is a smug asshole is using 300 pg plan and his knowledge of MLS to put the master Ralfball plan into action.

Yes, they should have flatly outlined their entire strategy and tactic prior to the season starting.  Would have been a great move.

See this is where we can actually benefit from having RB. The deep pocket un-wise spending wasn't working mostly. Developing talent from a young age into a system will be great if we actually retain talent, and using sources from the other RB teams can be great too.

According to this article, Red Bull once bought an Austrian club called SV Salzburg and renamed it Red Bull Salzburg.  Is this true?  Could someone look into this?

With a man called Ralf Ragnick being the core of the movement, the Viking Army name is as relevant as ever.

But jokes aside, that was a great article that pretty much aswers the questions we had in January. I'll try to watch as many Salzburg and Leipzig matches as I can from now on. I love the way we play including RB2 and I'm sure our sister teams are just as fun to watch.

Fuck the right wing.

Read the article at work yesterday and thought it was excellent.  Informative as to what's going on now, and sort of inspiring for the future.

(Someone will fire Ralf too soon and fuck it all up.)
