no i remember the USOC game midday/week. they were significantly louder parked under the roof, and more so post-game.

Yeah but they were the only ones in the stadium that afternoon besides the south ward.

There would more red bull fans not cheering for the union, making their traveling support less noisy as a result.

Bold choice to not start Royer

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Muyl presses better and covers more ground...but cant score like Royer does.

I guess its a wash for me. Only way I see Royer muyl and Sims all on the field is Muyl in that wingback role.

Short rest and revel so Im not sure well see sims start again, but after that performance you gotta keep rolling with him.

Joe Goldstein on Seeing Red podcast had an idea to Start Royer at striker, and Sims and Muyl on the wings. I don't hate that idea...

its the playoff push and we have no more midweek games.  Armas has to ride our best 11 for the last 3 games to try and get a home playoff game.  They can rest in the offseason.

Well I said that when there were 5 games left. But Armas rotated. So...

then again maybe I would go with this as Sims and Myul are better defensively than Royer and maybe we go with the best chance generator is a good press

plus its short rest and Sims and Myul have about 6-8 years on Royer.  Maybe Sims/Myul for ~60 and then sub on Royer/RZA.

WHite or BWP up top around 65

I really like that idea.  Just no Muyl on the wing.  I'd put Rza over there.  This team is just better when Rza plays farther up and he's a better player than Muyl as well.

Royer as a lone striker scares me a little. Can't do the physical hold-up work that White and Barlow do, and can't finish like BWP when he gets the ball in the box.

Are people seriously having a conversation about benching our team MVP this weekend?

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. Grab your New York Red Bulls soccer jersey and other gear here at MLSGear.com.
