From the videos I noticed online, the romanian dude can dribble. Looks like he always finds a way out of a tight situation which could be helpful when a team bunkers down.

My concern with him is that I barely noticed him taking any shot from midfield.

8 goals in 17 is pretty damn solid regardless of where he's actually shooting from.

Speaking of the Argie league, Atlanta United supposedly signing a pre-contract for Ezequiel Barco for $12m.

Major coin being spent in ATL...up to RB to remain competitive.

Don't worry, we have a pipeline of cheap talent in the academy!

Red Bull had the chance to do things the right way.  Be ambitious, sign youth starlets out of south America and Europe, pay the transfer fees to be a big player.

Atlanta United is everything I hoped Red Bull would've been when they got here in 06.  It's a fucking shame.

Including the Metro kits?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

By the way, are we using our players as scouts again?

Based on new adjustment to TAM rules, Red Bull would be able to fund this transfer with TAM if they wanted to commit funds to the club.  MLS is allowing teams to have some wiggle room in spending for impact players now, so we will see if the club steps up here or not.

(Teams can self fund $2.8 million of TAM to sign players)

We no longer have any DPs that couldn't count as TAM players.
